Body of unidentified man found near glass factory in Gandhinagar

Ahmedabad: Body of an unidentified man, believed to be around 30 years old, was found near a glass factory on the Por-Kudasan Road in Gandhinagar on Thursday evening.According to police, passers-by alerted the police after finding the body opposite the factory.

After preliminary investigation the case was handed over to the Adalaj police.Officials said there were no visible external injury marks on the body of the deceased.Investigators are working to establish the man’s identity. Police teams have begun inquiries at nearby construction sites and other establishments in the area to trace anyone who may know the deceased person or help identify him.The body was sent for a panel post-mortem to determine the exact cause of death. The autopsy report will help ascertain whether the death resulted from natural causes, an accident or any other reason.Meanwhile, a case of accidental death was registered at Adalaj police station.
