Bokaro girl reunited with parents

Bokaro: An 18-year-old girl was reunited with her family within 24 hours after she had left home. Her parents lodged a missing complaint at Sector 12 police station. They informed the police that their daughter was upset as her birthday was not celebrated the way she wanted.

Police launched a search, scanning CCTV footage and gathering inputs, DSP (City) Alok Ranjan said. TNNDuring questioning, the girl stated that she left home in anger over the birthday issue and wandered around before taking shelter at a known place. Information from local residents and a teacher also helped in locating her.Relieved parents thanked the police for their prompt action. The incident serves as a reminder for children to avoid making impulsive decisions over minor family issues and for families to maintain open communication.3 women went missing from the Bokaro city area within a 20-day period. Of them, the bodies of two were recovered on January 30 and February 2. In the latest incident, a 3rd woman mysteriously disappeared from the Sector 12 police station area of the Town Circle.
