Bomb scare at private school in Hassan

A private school in Hassan received a bomb threat via email, forcing the management to call the police.

The authorities of Vidya Soudha Public School and College, located at KIADB growth centre on the outskirts of Hassan, filed a complaint with police. They informed the police that they received an email at 10.16 p.m. on June 14 warning of a bomb blast in the school on June 16 at 1 p.m.

The police and anti-bomb squad rushed to the school on June 16 and searched the premises. The police had not found any explosive till the time this report was filed.
