Boston Bruins star David Pastrnak and his wife, Rebecca Rohlsson, have welcomed a new baby girl, making another milestone for the couple as their family continues to grow. The Bruins have confirmed the news through a team announcement, congratulating the couple on the birth of their new born daughter.
According to reports, the newborn is the third child for Pastrnak and Rohlsson, who previously had two children. The couple is already parents to daughter Freya Ivy, 2, and son Viggo Rohl, who died just six days after he was born in 2021. Boston Bruins star David Pastrnak and his wife, Rebecca, have welcomed their third child, a baby girl, the team announced on Thursday. The club shared the happy news and congratulated the couple on the birth of the little one.
The Bruins made the announcement official on their Twitter/X account, stating, “Per Coach Sturm, David Pastrnak and his wife, Rebecca, have welcomed a baby daughter. Congratulations to the Pastrnaks! David is expected to play tonight.” The team has further confirmed that the Boston Bruins star will appear tonight against the San Jose Sharks.
Earlier, in 2023, Pastrnak welcomed his daughter, Freya, sharing the news on Instagram.
He announced her birth stating, “We’ve dreamt about this moment for a long time, and I couldn’t be more proud of my two beautiful girls. I can’t wait to watch you be the best mamma to our little nugget," he wrote in his social media caption.As per reports, Pastrnak and Rebecca have been together since July 2018, and the couple welcomed their firstborn, Viggo Rohl, who unfortunately passed away just six days after he was born in 2021.
"Viggo Rohl Pastrnak June 17th 2021 - June 23rd 2021. We have an Angel watching over us, and we call him SON. You will be loved FOREVER," wrote Pastrnak after the passing away of his firstborn baby.Later, the couple married in June 2024 in an “amazing weekend” with family and friends. The Bruins star wrote that Rebecca was the “best wifey” he could have dreamed of, and he couldn’t wait to spend the rest of their lives together.Indeed, the arrival of their daughter now would bring joy and happiness for the Pastrnak family after several years that included both immense personal loss and renewed happiness.
