Boston Institute of Analytics opens centre in Hubballi

Boston Institute of Analytics (BIA) opened its first centre in north Karnataka in Hubballi on June 15. BIA is all set to offer courses in data sciences, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and allied fields from July 1.

Addressing mediapersons in Hubballi on June 13, director of BIA’s Hubballi Centre Srinivas Kyarakatti said that the centre would be offering duel certification programmes, diploma ad master diploma courses in data sciences, AI, cyber security and allied fields. .

Mr. Srinivas said BIA is present in seven countries and has 107 centres in India. The centre in Hubballi is its first in north Karnataka, where experienced faculty members chosen and trained by BIA would be conducting classes for students pursuing various courses.

Ashwini Nitali, manager of the centre, said that students who opt for BIA courses will be offered a mix of online and offline classes. Along with classes, there would be two-month internship programme for diploma students and on-the-job training for those opting for master diploma programmes.

Head of HR Nishat Mudhol said that as BIA had tie up with over 350 companies, the students completing the courses would get placement assistance. Both technical and non-technical students could pursue the courses, she said.
