Boy abducts, rapes 15-year-old girl

Bhopal: A 18-year-old youth allegedly abducted and raped a 15-year-old girl in the city. The ordeal came to light when the girl fell ill around a week back and later diagnosed more than two months pregnant.

Acting on the complaint, police on Friday night registered a case on charges of rape and abduction against the accused under sections of BNS and POCSO Act.Police said that the survivor, 15, is a student of class 10. Police said that one of the survivor’s friends owned a cafe where she visited frequently.There she met the 18-year-old youth, who was a frequent visitor. In January, the youth took her to his rented home in Kolar in absence of his parents and raped her.

When she resisted, the accused threatened her not to disclose the ordeal to anybody.The girl remained silent and stopped talking to him. After two months, the boy threatened to defame her and took her to his home again where he raped her. He promised to marry her when she resisted and continued to sexually assault her.After she fell ill, her mother counselled her, the girl revealed the ordeal. Subseqeuntly, the matter was reported to cops.
