Two years after the guard was acquired from the Washington Wizards, Bradley Beal's time in the Phoenix Suns did not end well. His old team provided him with an opportunity to find a new home with the Los Angeles Clippers.
To do that, they bought out more than $96 million of the remaining $110 million on his contract on Wednesday.Responding to the news, the NBA icon posted a message on social media on Thursday morning. After his difficult time with the Phoenix Suns, he kept things brief and to the point. He only included a peace sign emoji as a caption for an Instagram photo instead of a lengthy message.
The emoji was widely perceived as a jab at the Phoenix Suns. Now, many NBA players including Tyus Jones and Kevin Durant commented on his post. Both Kevin Durant and Miami Heat player Bam Adebayo used the smiling face emoji as a reply.
