A first-year B.Tech student from Hyderabad studying in Finland has been missing since May 5, prompting his family to seek intervention from the Centre and the Telangana government.

Manideep Reddy, who is pursuing his studies at LUT University in Lahti, has not responded to phone calls or messages for more than 45 days, according to his family.

Despite efforts to trace him through his university and the place where he was staying, the family said no information about his whereabouts has emerged. Finnish authorities have registered a missing person case and are investigating the matter.
