Brittany Mahomes had two very different Instagram moments this week, but both said plenty. One was about change. The other was about familiarity. On Monday, she reacted to Trent McDuffie’s move from the Kansas City Chiefs to the Los Angeles Rams with a short comment that made the mood clear. In a separate update, Brittany also posted a side-by-side look at Patrick Mahomes and their son, Bronze, showing just how closely the little one is starting to copy his father away from football. One post dealt with a key Chiefs exit. The other showed the Mahomes household doing what it often does in the offseason, turning a quiet family moment into something fans latch onto fast.
Brittany Mahomes kept it short when Gabby Esposito said goodbye to Kansas City
According to a March 10 report, McDuffie was traded to the Rams after four seasons with Kansas City and reportedly landed a four-year deal worth about $124 million.
That report also noted the deal would make him the highest-paid cornerback in NFL history. After the move, McDuffie’s girlfriend, Gabby Esposito, posted a long farewell message to the Chiefs, the city, and what she called her “Chiefs girliesss.” She wrote, "First and foremost, I will forever be in debt to the whole Chiefs organization for trading up for Trent in the draft, bringing him to Kansas City on the lucky chance of meeting the love of my life."
She added, "There was something truly so special about watching the person I love live out his dreams in the city I call home + that is a feeling I’ll carry with me forever.
"
Esposito also wrote, "And to my Chiefs girliesss, my heart hurts," before adding, "the friendships and bonds we’ve built are some of my favorites that I can only hope don’t go away with distance. I’ll miss you all tremendously but will forever cherish all of the laughs, game days, + countless tequila shots."Brittany’s response was much shorter, but it landed. She commented, "You guys will be missed." That is not drama. It is not overdone. It's a heartfelt goodbye for a friend who's been through thick and thin and weathered every storm.
Brittany Mahomes’ post about Bronze showed Patrick Mahomes has a copycat at home
Brittany shared a side-by-side image of Patrick and Bronze wearing similar outfits, including matching hats, while both stared into the camera. Her caption was simple: "Son Trying to be like his daddy always."That post did not need much explaining. The point was obvious. Bronze is watching Patrick closely and copying him already. That is what made the contrast stand out. Earlier, Brittany was reacting to a Chiefs departure that clearly mattered to people around the team. Later, she was posting a family moment that had nothing to do with contracts or cap space. Same day, different tone. One showed what Kansas City lost. The other showed what Patrick Mahomes still has around him while the offseason rolls on.
