Brown sugar peddler held in H’bag

Hazaribag: A drugs peddler of Barkatha market area was arrested by police from near Budhiya Mata temple area with brown sugar on Sunday.Barhi SDPO (in-charge) Md Armanul Haque said, “Hazaribag SP Aman Kumar received inputs that a person was selling narcotics near the temple area in Ichak block on the main road connecting Barkatha market to Barwa.

”“A special team, which was formed to investigate the case, arrested Kundan Kumar Pandit and seized five grams of brown sugar, Rs 11,400, and a mobile from the accused. A case was registered a case against him under sections 21(B)/29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act,” he added.
