Bhongir MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy came down heavily on BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao and senior leader Harish Rao for their remarks on the High Court verdict regarding Group-1 examinations.

In a statement here, he said the only intention of the BRS was to stall the Group-I at any cost, as they could not conduct it in their 10-year rule. “You couldn’t even conduct DSC, Group-1, Group-2 or Group-4 exams. Was it not during your time that the Group-I papers ended up at photocopying centres and in villages? Wasn’t it your misrule that brought shame to the TSPSC?,” he asked.

The MP charged that it was the BRS that tarnished the reputation of Telangana’s recruitment system and now the same leaders were raising questions against the Congress government. Highlighting the Congress government’s initiatives, he said that 11,000 teaching posts were filled and Group-1 and Group-2 exams were conducted despite efforts to stall them.

Mr. Reddy clarified that the TGPSC will take a decision on the Court’s direction and in the best interests of the unemployed youth. He urged the BRS leadership not to obstruct employment opportunities for youth just because they did not vote for them. This is nothing but deriving sadistic pleasure at the cost of jobless youth.
