LeBron James gave his honest thoughts after Arizona’s Big 12 title win. The four-time NBA champion turned his focus to his son, Bryce James, who is part of the Wildcats program. While Bryce has not played this season after choosing to redshirt, his father made it clear that the moment still holds importance.

Arizona’s rise as a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament has added more attention to Bryce’s journey. For LeBron James, the excitement reflects a long-term view shaped by his own experience entering elite basketball at a young age.

LeBron James, like always, gave his direct and candid answer. “I’m definitely rooting for them in the (NCAA) Tournament,” James told reporters. His support extended to the environment around the Arizona Wildcats men's basketball and what it offers Bryce.

Bryce, a freshman guard, has spent the season learning from experienced players like Jaden Bradley and Tobe Awaka. “To have our kid be able to experience that, to see the joy on his face, the happiness that he has being in Arizona,” LeBron James said, “learning a lot from the vets…..I think that’s going to pay dividends for him going into next year.”

LeBron also connected the moment to his own journey. “I think it’s going to pay dividends for him going into next year,” James said.

“He’s just living in the moment. … I always say the best teacher in life is experience. So, of course, I don’t have a choice but to root for Arizona. My son’s there.”The Wildcats, led by coach Tommy Lloyd, now enter the tournament with astonishing hype. Their Round of 64 matchup against Long Island University places them among the favorites.
