BTS announce ‘ARIRANG’ to release in theatres ahead of comeback world tour; advance ticket sales to open on February 25

BTS is leaving no stone unturned to make sure their comeback is one for the record books.Fans of the stars, who waited patiently for the K-Pop superstars to make their return, will be treated to show unlike any other.

The band on Friday, announced their plans for a BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ LIVE VIEWING, a global theatrical event that will broadcast two full-length concerts in April.

BTS to take over big screens

According to the official announcement, RM, Suga, Jin, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook will perform on the big screen. This theatrical event is scheduled for April 11 and April 18. The first broadcast will feature one of the trio of opening shows in Goyang, South Korea, while the second will air from the group’s Tokyo stop.The theatrical screenings will vary by territory, with each concert set to be shown twice in participating regions. Tickets and territory-specific details will be available from February 25, with sales officially opening at 8 a.m. ET.

BTS' ARIRANG album release

The cinema event will follow BTS’ LIVE streaming event on Netflix slated for streaming on March 21. This will begin streaming a day after BTS launches their fifth studio album, 'ARIRANG', set for release on March 20.

The band will then follow up the album launch with a tour that spans 82 shows across 34 cities, marking what organisers describe as the most tour dates ever undertaken by a K-pop artist.BTS will officially wrap up their tour next year with scheduled dates in Manila, Philippines, on March 13 and 14, 2027.
