CAAA to host Articleship Mela 4.0 in Ahmedabad on July 3

Ahmedabad: Marking its platinum jubilee, the Chartered Accountants Association, Ahmedabad (CAAA) will host the fourth edition of its Articleship Mela on July 3.The offline placement event, starting at 10am, serves as a trusted platform connecting first-year CA students directly with firms through an online registration and a smart matchmaking system.The mela uses a dashboard-driven process to align student preferences in areas like audit, taxation, and GST with firm requirements, culminating in on-the-spot interviews.CAAA’s first woman president Anjali Choksi said this year’s edition moves beyond articleship placements and includes initiatives like placement support for paid assistants in CA firms, AI workshops for professional entities, and collaborations with other associations to strengthen professional networks.Chief coordinator Bishan Shah added that a series of events, including knowledge sessions and fellowship programmes, have also been planned.
