Cabinet gives a push for agriculture, health and education sectors

The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet has taken a series of decisions covering irrigation, public health, higher education, administration, and urban infrastructure, aimed at strengthening governance and accelerating development across sectors.

Addressing the media on Friday, Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Minister Kolusu Parthasarathy said the Cabinet approved ad hoc promotions for 58 eligible Deputy Executive Engineers as Executive Engineers to address administrative gaps caused by unresolved seniority disputes. The move, based on a “fair share” principle, was expected to ensure smooth functioning and prevent delays in the ongoing irrigation works.
