Collaborating on ‘The Pride of Bharat - Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’

Vivek Oberoi and Rishab Shetty will be seen together in the upcoming historical film ‘The Pride of Bharat - Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’.

The two-part film will tell the story of the life and legacy of the legendary Maratha ruler Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.Rishab Shetty will play Shivaji Maharaj, while Vivek Oberoi will be seen as Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. The film also stars Shefali Shah as Jijamata and Arjun Rampal in an important role. The film is helmed by Sandeep Singh and is scheduled to release in theatres worldwide on January 21, 2027, in multiple languages across more than 40 countries.On the other hand, Vivek Oberoi has another big pan-India film, ‘Spirit’ in his pipeline. The film is directed by Prabhas and stars Prabhas and Tripti Dimri in the key roles. Vivek Oberoi will be seen in a negative role.
