New Delhi: Canva has recently introduced its Canva AI 2.0 upgrade, featuring a more conversational, AI-powered approach for designing and completing projects. This update focuses on taking the users from the rough idea to a polished result more seamlessly, without the need to switch tools.
Now the users will no longer need to begin with templates or any blank pages; they can now describe what they need, and Canva will automatically generate a fully structured, editable design.
This shift marks the process from manual building to guided creation by reducing the need to piece things together from the beginning. Canva’s AI will use the agentic orchestration to understand the user’s intent and coordinate with the different tools automatically.
Instead of switching between features, the users can also stay in the single flow, by asking AI to generate things like a multi-channel campaign plan or to refine an existing design with simple text prompts.
This update also aims for flexibility, by enabling the users to make aim edits with the natural language commands. This will make it easier to fine-tune outputs without starting over.
A latest Living Memory feature that will learn user preferences over time, by helping to keep their work more consistent across projects. It can also apply their unique style, branding, and past choices automatically, by reducing repetitive adjustments.
These latest changes have positioned the platform less as a design tool and more as a creative collaborator that will evolve with the user. Canva AI 2.0 is currently available as the research preview.
