Car catches fire in Patna, none injured

A car burst into flames near J P Gangapath roundabout in Patna on Friday, causing a traffic snarl on Marine Drive. Fortunately, occupants safely evacuated before the blaze consumed the vehicle. Firefighters swiftly extinguished the fire, preventing injuries. This incident follows a similar car fire on Nehru Path the previous day. Authorities are investigating the cause.

Patna: A car caught fire near J P Gangapath roundabout under Digha police station area on Friday. However, no one was injured in the incident.On Thursday also a car caught fire on Nehru Path.The fire department personnel were able to control the fire, but the car was badly damaged.According to eyewitnesses, smoke started coming out from the front part of the car, and soon flames engulfed the whole body. The incident caused a traffic jam on Marine Drive. Later the damaged car was towed away.Assistant fire officer Ajit Kumar said, “The fire was brought under control, and both large and small fire tenders were rushed to the spot.

The fire was extinguished within 25 minutes, and no one was injured.”According to Brajesh Chauhan, SHO of Gandhi Maidan Traffic police station, two people, including AGM of Bata Factory, Rambabu Prasad, were in the car, but they safely exited the vehicle before the fire spread. The car was on its way to Mithapur from Marine Drive when the fire incident took place.“The authorities are working to determine the exact cause behind the fire,” he added.
