Car rams two scooters near Jaam Gate; one dies, two injured

Times News NetworkMhow: A rashly driven car rammed into two scooters near Jaam Gate resulting in death of one person and critically injuring two on Friday late afternoon.“At 3.45 pm, some picnickers informed Dial 112 about a road accident near Jaam Gate, in which one person had lost his senses while two others were critically injured.

On this, the Dial 112 team reached there and took all three to Mhow civil hospital while informing us about the car, which had rammed two scooters. Head Constable Pankaj Ojha and his team was asked to trace the car. After tracing it, they chased it and while negotiating a turn near Ashapura petrol pump, the driver lost control and the car went off the road into a shallow gorge before overturning.

Both driver and his companion were heavily drunk,” Badgonda police station in charge Prakash Waskale told TOI.He said that the driver was identified as Vishal, 27, resident of Hatod near Indore while his friend was identified as Rahul. Both were returning from Jaam Gate after a picnic when the accident occurred. The deceased was identified as Shlok, a resident of Subhash Nagar in Indore.
