The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has outlined a comprehensive schedule for schools and private candidates, detailing the submission of the List of Candidates (LOC) for Class 10 and Class 12, alongside web modules for Children With Special Needs (CWSN) seeking examination exemptions. In a detailed notice, the board emphasized, “CBSE has issued circulars/notifications regarding the submission of LOC for Class X and XII, along with intimation of the web module for CWSN candidates. Private candidates of both classes have also been guided on examination form submissions. The critical dates for these activities are as follows.” All deadlines are set to conclude at 11:59 PM.
Partial relaxation for APAAR ID submission
In a separate advisory, CBSE has offered partial relief to schools facing challenges in generating APAAR IDs (Academic Performance Assessment and Reporting IDs) linked to LOC data. The board acknowledged representations from schools across states, citing difficulties such as:
- Integration issues between multiple portals
- Discrepancies in student data between school records and Aadhaar
- Time-consuming updates and corrections
- Lack of parental consent
To address these challenges, CBSE has instructed schools to follow these steps:
- If APAAR IDs are not generated due to parental consent denial, schools must maintain a copy of the refusal and mark the LOC entry as “REFUSED”.
- If APAAR IDs are unavailable for other reasons, the entry should read “NOGEN”.
- For all other students, APAAR IDs must be indicated.
The board reaffirmed that adherence to these instructions will ensure error-free LOC submission within the stipulated timelines.
Schools encountering issues can reach out to their respective regional offices.
