CBSE Skill Expo showcases student innovation in Visakhapatnam

Nearly 25 CBSE-affiliated schools from across Andhra Pradesh participated in the CBSE Skill Expo and Guidance Festival 2026-27, hosted by Visakha Valley School here on Tuesday. Students displayed around 60 exhibits highlighting innovation, creativity and practical skills.

Addressing the participants virtually, Biswajit Saha, Director, CBSE, urged students and educators to contribute to the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 through innovation, responsibility and lifelong learning.

Andhra University Vice-Chancellor G. P. Raja Sekhar lauded the CBSE initiative and encouraged students to foster curiosity, creativity and a spirit of exploration.

Satish Pahal, Joint Director, Skill Education, CBSE, said every stakeholder had a role to play in building a skilled and self-reliant India.

Earlier, Visakha Valley School Principal Eshwari Prabhakar welcomed the participants and reiterated the institution’s commitment to holistic education.

The exhibits covered a wide range of themes, including environment and sustainability, health and wellness, entrepreneurship, tourism, agriculture, media and animation, reflecting the students’ creativity, innovative thinking and future-ready skills.
