CCTV Captures Man Firing Shots Outside Rohit Shetty’s Mumbai Residence | Video

As the matter is being handled by the Mumbai Crime Branch, all the suspects will be handed over to the Mumbai Crime Branch for further investigation.

Unidentified assailants fired five rounds outside the residence of film director Rohit Shetty in Mumbai’s Juhu area. CCTV footage captured the incident, though no injuries were reported.

Following the firing, police have deployed heavy security around Shetty’s residence and heightened overall safety measures in the vicinity. Investigations are underway to identify the suspects and determine the motive behind the attack.

The accused escaped to Pune after firing shots outside Rohit Shetty’s residence late at night. They have been identified as Aman Anand Marote (27), Aditya Gyaneshwar Gayaki (19), Siddharth Deepak Yenpure (20), Samarth Shivsharan Pomaji (18) and Swapnil Bandu Sakat (23).

As the matter is being handled by the Mumbai Crime Branch, all the suspects will be handed over to the Mumbai Crime Branch for further investigation.

Mumbai Police, in a statement said that the officials are investigating the matter and examining all possible angles to identify the perpetrators.

“Unidentified assailants fired four rounds outside the residence of film director Rohit Shetty. Following this, heavy police security has been deployed around Rohit Shetty’s residence in Juhu. The police are currently investigating the matter diligently and exploring every possible angle to identify the perpetrators. The motive behind the attack is still unknown," said Mumbai Police.

Police said investigations are ongoing to determine the motive behind the firing and the role of each suspect.
