Centre assures support to govt’s skill development initiatives

The Central Government has assured its cooperation to the State Government in its efforts to ensure skill development among youth.

Union Minister of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Jayant Singh Chaudhary gave the assurance during his meeting with Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Sunday. The Union Minister, who was here to participate in an official programme on Monday, called on the Chief Minister at his residence this afternoon.

Mr. Jayant Chaudhary inquired about the initiatives of the Telangana Government in skill development among youth to make them employment ready. Mr. Revanth Reddy explained to the Union Minister about various proactive steps, including the setting up of the Skill University in the State.

The Union Minister appreciated the State Government’s initiatives and assured the Centre’s support to them.
