Centre’s support helped Andhra Pradesh weather fiscal pressures: Lokesh

IT and HRD Minister Nara Lokesh has expressed gratitude to the Union government for its steadfast support to Andhra Pradesh, stating that the Centre’s backing has enabled the State to stay committed to responsible financial management and long-term growth despite fiscal pressures.

In a message posted on social media, he said the continued guidance and encouragement of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had been instrumental in advancing transformative projects such as Polavaram, the development of Amaravati, and the Rayalaseema Global Horticulture Project, which he noted would lay a strong foundation for the State’s future.
