For those allotted seats in the first round of UGCET/NEET courses, a revised schedule for choice entry has been announced. Karnataka Examinations Authority’s executive director H. Prasanna has advised candidates to pay the fees within the stipulated period and secure admission to the allotted college without fail.
For courses such as Engineering, Agricultural Sciences, Veterinary, BPharm, Pharma D, Yoga and Naturopathy, BPT, BPO, Allied Health Sciences, Architecture, B.Sc Nursing, and Homoeopathy, candidates who have been allotted seats can enter their choices until 11 a.m. on Thursday, according to the press release.
Fee payment is allowed until 4 p.m. on Thursday. The last date to report to the college is Friday. There will be no changes to this schedule, and the dates will not be extended, he emphasised.
For those allotted seats in medical and dental courses, the choice entry link will be activated from 1 p.m. on Thursday and will remain open until Saturday. Fee payment can be made until August 18, and the last date to report to the college is August 19, he said.
Candidates who select Choice-1 must pay the fees online and download the seat allotment letter. Afterwards, they must report to the allotted college with all the original documents.
This time, original document verification will be done at the college level itself. Therefore, candidates must carry the original documents as per their claim category. The responsibility of verifying whether the documents are in order lies with the respective colleges, he explained.
Owing to a lack of time in the admission process, colleges will remain functional even on holidays, Mr. Prasanna said.
