31-year-old conservative activist and founder of Turning Point USA was shot in the neck and he succumbed to his injuries.

As per a report by Associated Press, in 2023, Kirk had three properties – all valued at over a million, and also possessed a $4.75 million Spanish-style estate in a gated Arizona golf club.

Kirk’s earnings were mostly from public speaking events, podcast and radio show. Reportedly, Kirk used to charge up to $50,000–$100,000 per event.

The group states that it now has a presence on nearly 4,000 high school and college campuses, operating as a conservative lifestyle brand that promotes hundreds of online influencers.

On September 10, Kirk was speaking at a debate hosted by Turning Point USA at Utah Valley University. According to the authorities, the shooter fired from the roof during his address.

Several videos of the incident were shared on social media showing a single shot rings out and Kirk reaches up with his right hand as blood gushes from the left side of his neck. Utah Governor Spencer Cox called the killing a “political assassination."
