Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu sets deadline for key irrigation projects

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has called for a structured, forward-looking strategy to harness the Godavari water through the Polavaram irrigation project, underscoring the need for scientific planning in water distribution across Andhra Pradesh.

While directing officials to speed up major irrigation works, including Veligonda Stage-I, Mr. Naidu also proposed developing Polavaram into a tourism hub.
