Eligible candidates seeking admission to B.Ed courses in State government and government-aided colleges through single window counselling may complete their choice filling online till 5 p.m. of August 9.
The decision was taken after it was noticed that candidates from outside Chennai faced difficulties in appearing for in-person counselling sessions, Higher Education Minister Govi. Chezhiaan stated in a release. Giving details, the release said that a total of 3,545 candidates, including 2,983 women and five belonging to the third gender, had applied for B.Ed courses this year. The rank list for the same was released online on July 31.
Eligible candidates may complete their choice filling using their user IDs in the website www.lwiase.ac.in. A total of 2,040 seats are in offer in 21 government and government-aided colleges of education, the release added.
