The Andhra Pradesh Crime Investigation Department (CID) police organised a five-day training programme on ‘Cyber Hygiene and Cybersecurity Best Practices’ for CID officers across the State.
The training programme was jointly organised by CID, in association with School of Computer Science and Engineering (SCOPE) at VIT-A.P. University from March 10 to 14, said CID Director General Ravi Shankar Ayyanar.
Experts from research organisations and academia spoke on topics such as Advanced Cybercrimes, Cyber Risk Management and Mitigation, Basic Hardware Security, Advanced Persistent Threats and Deepfakes in Real Time, among others.
“The training programme was conducted in a hybrid mode, in which more than 100 CID officers participated,” Mr. Ravi Shankar Ayyanar said.
