CIMP students interact with Hotmail co-founder

Patna: The Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP) on Thursday organised a virtual bootcamp with Sabeer Bhatia, co-founder of the world’s first web-based email service, for its students and aspiring entrepreneurs.

The interactive session, titled “Human Algorithm: Scaling Success from Hotmail to Hot Coin”, was held online.Sharing his journey of innovation and entrepreneurship, Bhatia said that his path from Hotmail to Hot Coin had always been about pushing boundaries with ideas that are new and innovative. “Success doesn’t come from following traditional paths; it comes from developing skills, questioning conventions, and daring to think differently,” he said, adding that the world rewards those who innovate, not those who imitate.

Ramesh Jadhav, professor of entrepreneurship at Jharkhand University of Technology, Ranchi, observed that entrepreneurship is not just about building businesses, but about creating ecosystems that empower people to dream, innovate, and scale.CIMP director Rana Singh said the institute believes in nurturing innovation and entrepreneurial spirit. “Today’s session is a unique opportunity for our students, founders, and dreamers to learn directly from a global icon.
