City doctor gets FIAB fellowship

Dr Abhishek Tandon, a pulmonologist from the city, has been conferred the FIAB (Fellow of the Indian Association for Bronchology) at BroncoCon 2026 — the 28th Annual Conference of the Indian Association for Bronchology (IAB), held recently in Pune.

Dr Tandon, a consultant with the dept of respiratory and sleep medicine with Medanta Hospital, Lucknow, is the youngest pulmonologist in the country to receive this fellowship. He has also been elected as a governing council member of the IAB, a recognition of his contributions to the field of bronchology and respiratory medicine.
