Speaking to PEOPLE on August 24, 2025, at the red carpet premiere of ESPN’s new series The Kingdom in Kansas City, Hunt said the picture captures one of the team’s “special moments.

” The photo shows Swift celebrating with Kelce after the Chiefs’ Super Bowl LVIII victory in February 2024, a memory Hunt described as extra meaningful.

The framed photo shows Taylor Swift hugging Travis Kelce as fans and teammates celebrated the Chiefs’ 25–22 win over the San Francisco 49ers in Las Vegas.

Hunt said the Chiefs keep many photos of historic events inside their stadium and training center. “We have photos of a lot of special moments throughout the facility,” Hunt said. He added that Arrowhead also features photos from Swift’s concerts, but the Super Bowl snapshot stood out because it marked a championship win.

During the premiere at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, Hunt said the ESPN docuseries The Kingdom offers a “fun” view of how Taylor Swift became part of the Chiefs family. He noted it was “really unique” to hear Swift talk about attending her first Chiefs game from her own perspective.

Director Kristen Lappas confirmed Taylor Swift approved the use of her image and called her “very supportive” of the project. Chiefs CMO Lara Krug said Swift wanted to be seen simply as a fan, not the focus. The series, which also features Patrick Mahomes, Chris Jones, and head coach Andy Reid, follows the Chiefs’ chase to make NFL history.Clark Hunt also pointed out that Swift’s presence boosted excitement around the Chiefs.
