Class 10 boy drowns in the Hooghly while shooting reel

Kolkata: A class 10 student at Sodepur High School, Kaustav Mondal, drowned in the Hooghly while allegedly trying to shoot a reel off 12 Mandir Ghat in Panihati on Friday afternoon. His classmate, Nilchandra Das, who also fell in the water was rescued.

Khardah Police Station cops and state disaster management department fished Mondal’s body later.
