CM releases Braille book on disaster safety for persons with disabilities

Chief minister Mohan Yadav on Thursday released a Braille book on safety measures against fire, heatwaves and lightning for persons with disabilities at the state secretariat.

Published by the Disaster Management Institute, Bhopal, with support from the department of social justice and empowerment of persons with disabilities, the book makes Madhya Pradesh the third state after Kerala and Assam to take such an initiative. The publication is expected to help visually impaired persons access vital disaster preparedness information. TNN
