Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will visit Banaganapalle in Nandyal district on July 9 (Thursday) to distribute the digitally updated pattadar passbooks under the government's Mee Bhoomi – Mee Hakku programme.

The visit marks another phase of the government's land resurvey initiative, with the Chief Minister set to hand over passbooks bearing the State emblem to farmers and landowners in the villages where the resurvey process has been completed.

With the latest distribution, the government will have issued nearly 29 lakh pattadar passbooks across the State.

According to officials, the resurvey has been completed in 6,887 villages, and 29.04 lakh passbooks have already been printed and distributed.

In June alone, the Revenue Department had completed verification of 2.48 lakh passbooks, covering 428 villages. In Nandyal district, 8,412 passbooks have been prepared, including 1,125 for beneficiaries in the Banaganapalle Assembly constituency.

The government has set a target of completing the resurvey in the remaining 9,929 villages by March next. About 64.53 lakh pattadar passbooks are yet to be distributed.

During his visit, the Chief Minister will inspect the services at the Banaganapalle Tahsildar’s office, interact with the farmers, and later participate in a public programme. He is also scheduled to hold a meeting with the party workers before returning to Amaravati.
