Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday paid courtesy visit to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. Referring to the same, Yogi Adityanath expressed ‘gratitude’ after meeting with ‘world’s most popular leader’ and shared pictures of the meeting on X.

“I had the honor of meeting the world’s most popular leader, the respected Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji, in New Delhi today and received his warm guidance. Heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister ji for granting me his valuable time!" the X post reads.

UP CM also met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) president Jagat Prakash Nadda in the capital. He shared the pictures of the meeting on X and thanked both the leaders for their time.

Earlier on Thursday, CM Yogi held a detailed review of development projects and the law and order situation at PM Modi’s constituency Varanasi. He instructed the officials to complete all the projects timely and adhere to the deadlines. As per an official statement from UP CMO, Adityanath also aimed at making Varanasi among the top five cleanest cities. He emphasised the importance of cleanliness and stated that Varanasi must not lag behind in maintaining sanitation standards.

He instructed the Municipal Commissioner to conduct regular cleanliness drives to achieve this target. The Chief Minister also called for widespread publicity of the state government’s newly introduced building bylaws to ensure public awareness, emphasising the need to hold seminars and leverage social and digital media for effective outreach.
