Adityanath’s remarks come two days after thousands of factory workers in Noida staged protests demanding higher wages and additional benefits.

Protests in Noida were reported in multiple locations, including Sector 62, where large groups of workers gathered, bringing traffic to a near standstill.
Days after violent labour unrest in Noida, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday warned against allowing external elements to interfere in factory operations, warning that such disruptions could undermine industrial harmony and development.
Speaking at an event in Lucknow to mark the rollout of the one-millionth bus from the Tata Motors plant, the chief minister said industries must be protected from interference that derails productivity and progress.
“No outside elements should be allowed to interfere in the internal matters of factories under any circumstances. Bigaadne wale bahut aaenge, banaane wale kam milenge," he said, addressing company officials and employees.
Adityanath’s remarks come two days after thousands of factory workers in Noida staged protests demanding higher wages and additional benefits.
The agitation turned violent in parts, with incidents of arson, stone-pelting and vandalism reported. The chief minister had earlier indicated that a possible conspiracy angle behind the violence is being probed by the police.
Highlighting the role of industries in social and economic growth, Adityanath urged workers to value institutions that generate employment and opportunities.
“Organisations that provide livelihoods, educate children and shape the future of youth deserve respect and gratitude," he said, adding that such sentiment strengthens trust and ensures sustainable development.
Recalling the Tata Group’s long-standing presence in the state, the chief minister said its operations have supported thousands of families and enabled young people to build careers with dignity.
He congratulated Tata employees on the production milestone, noting that buses manufactured at the Lucknow plant would further strengthen public transport services.
The event was attended by N Chandrasekaran, Tata Motors Managing Director Girish Wagh, Uttar Pradesh Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta and Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh, among other senior officials.
