Cole Palmer has gone full ice-cold — and now it’s official.
The Chelsea star has trademarked his iconic ‘cold’ celebration, unveiling a slick black-and-white logo built around his now-famous interlocked arms pose.
Palmer dropped the reveal on Instagram with a simple caption: “Less is more."
“I’m switched on. I know what I’m doing. Calculated," Palmer says in the video.
“I’m just being myself. This is built, not shouted."
The celebration — quickly dubbed the ice-cold — has become inseparable from Palmer.
Palmer previously explained its origins in a 2024 interview with The Telegraph, revealing it first appeared during a 3-2 win over Luton last December — a nod to former Manchester City academy teammate and now Aston Villa star, Morgan Rogers.
“It symbolises joy, passion and determination," Palmer said. “And it works with my name. People know it’s mine."
What feels far less cold right now, though, is Stamford Bridge.
Whispers around Palmer’s future are growing louder. Reports from Daily Express and Sky Sports suggest the England international isn’t entirely settled in London and could be open to a return north.
Palmer joined Chelsea from Manchester City in 2023 in search of regular football after struggling for minutes under Pep Guardiola. While his debut season sparkled, this campaign has been tougher.
Injuries, form dips and frustration have crept in — reflected in just four Premier League goals so far.
His irritation was visible again during Chelsea’s 2-0 win over Brentford last weekend.
Add in the fact Palmer is a boyhood Manchester United supporter, plus murmurs of homesickness, and suddenly talk of a dramatic return to Manchester doesn’t sound completely absurd — even if it remains firmly in dreamland.
Chelsea head coach Liam Rosenior, however, has played down the noise.
“I’ve had numerous conversations with Cole. He’s very happy here," Rosenior insisted.
“He’s a huge part of our long-term plans. Every player goes through difficult moments."
