‘Con City’ box office collections day 2: Arjun Das and Anna Ben starrer added Rs 1.04 crore on Saturday

The Tamil crime comedy drama ‘Con City’ starring Arjun Das and Anna Ben saw decent numbers at the box office after the film hit theatres on June 26. During its opening weekend the film added Rs 1.04 crore on Saturday.According to Sacnilk, ‘Con City,’ directed by Harish Durairaj opened its theatrical run at Rs 75 lakh. The film on the second day saw a 38.7% increase from its numbers yesterday as it made over Rs 1.04 crore. Now, as of now the film’s total India gross collections to Rs 2.06 crore and total India net collections to Rs 1.79 crore.

‘Con City’ occupancy

Interestingly, on Saturday the film had 943 shows which is less than its opening day on Friday which had 972 shows.The total overall occupancy on Saturday stands at 23.13%. It had the lowest during its morning shows at 10.23% and later an increase to 18.77% in the afternoon. Later it further rose to 23.38% during the evening and saw the maximum strength at night with 32.08%.The film also includes Yogi Babu and veteran actor Vadivukkarasi in key roles. Child actor Akhilan is also featured.

everyone did their part well.. the first act took much time to setup the characters and the struggles they face after that film pickups really well.” Another added, “A Fun Filled entertainer in the backdrop of a scam. Good First half & a Decent Second half.” On the other hand, one shared, “The film had an interesting premise, but several logical flaws are noticeable throughout the movie.
