Conference on AQI in Hyderabad on January 29

A conference by the State Planning Department on air quality index and air quality management would be held at Dr. MCRHRD Institute of Telangana in Hyderabad on Thursday, with technical assistance from the Pollution Control Board. Experts will share best practices in regulating different sources of air pollution with stakeholder departments, NGOs, universities and civil societies, as per a press note. The session will be chaired by Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and other Ministers. Best available techniques and uptake of cleaner fuels for minimising emissions and reducing road emissions to net zero are some topics to be discussed at the technical session.
