Congress leader stresses on women’s empowerment

Former Union Minister and Congress Party senior leader Killi Kruparani said that women’s empowerment ensure economic independence of the family within no time. Along with SSR Charitable Trust founder Sura Srinivasa Rao, she felicitated 700 women from different sections of society on the eve of Women’s day. She said: “In order for women to excel in career and their chosen professions, the support of society is needed. Political empowerment of women also benefits society as it helps them understand and address issues ensuring logical conclusions to problems." She felicitated SSR Charitable Trust founder Sura Srinivasa Rao and said that felicitation women will enhance their morale and make them move towards the path of development.
