Congress MPs urge Speaker to expunge Tejasvi Surya’s remarks on Telangana; protest at Parliament

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Tejasvi Surya’s remarks on Telangana continue to raise the hackles among the State leaders, with Congress MPs from the State intensifying their protest both inside and outside the Parliament.

A delegation of the Congress MPs met Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla in his chambers, urging him to expunge the controversial comments from the official records. The delegation included Kadiyam Kavya, Chamala Kiran Reddy, Mallu Ravi, Ramasahayam Raghuram Reddy, Suresh Shetkar, and Gaddam Vamsi.
