Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday raised concerns over illegal immigrants taking away jobs from Indian citizens, alerting voters in poll-bound Bihar about rapid demographic changes along the state’s borders. PM Modi also accused the Congress and RJD of plotting to "snatch away people’s rights and give them to illegal immigrants" to expand their vote banks.

“People of Bihar need to be aware of the supporters of these immigrants in the country Congress and RJD want to take away the rights of the people of Bihar and give them to immigrants for appeasement and to increase their vote bank,” he said.

Announcing an infrastructure push worth Rs 13,000 crore in Gaya, PM Modi added that he would not "allow intruders to decide the country’s future."
