Amid reports of a behind-the-scenes tussle between the two top Karnataka leaders over the Chief Minister’s post, the Congress high command has asked Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to hold a meeting.

Following the nudge from the party leadership, the Chief Minister and the Deputy Chief Minister are scheduled to meet for breakfast on Saturday. This will be the first meeting between the two leaders after the intervention by the Congress high command.
