NEW DELHI: India's core sector growth slowed to 1.7% in June, compared to 5% a year ago, although it was higher than the 1.2% increase reported in May 2025. Coal and electricity saw lower output, even as steel and cement grew by over 9% in June, data released by govt on Monday showed.
