Joy Taylor has finally fired back at Jason Whitlock seven months after he made a viral “peanut butter skin” remark about her. The former Fox Sports host mocked Whitlock’s weight while speaking on Cam Newton’s “Funky Friday” podcast this week.
Taylor, who was let go by Fox Sports earlier this summer after almost ten years, said, “Every time someone brings up Jason Whitlock, I’m like… I can’t believe he’s still with us. I don’t think anything works harder than his cholesterol, to be honest.”
Jason Whitlock recalls old remarks and Joy Taylor dismisses him
The comments came months after Whitlock, who left FS1 years ago, had publicly claimed in January 2025 that he “stayed away” from Taylor at the network to avoid temptation, calling her “peanut butter skin” in a strange statement that spread widely online.
When asked by Newton if she had watched Whitlock’s shows, Taylor quickly replied that she “couldn’t give a f** less.”* She also joked, “He said something about peanut butter, right? What a shock, food…”Jason Whitlock had first made the “peanut butter skin” remark in January 2025, after a lawsuit at Fox Sports became public. At the time, he posted on social media that he avoided Taylor’s “attractive qualities” because he knew what he would have done if he crossed that line. He also reshared a video of Emmanuel Acho, her former co-host on FS1’s “Speak,” praising Taylor, writing, “Kinda hits different now?”During her talk with Cam Newton in August 2025, Taylor mocked his earlier words, sarcastically saying, “Well I mean, he’s so desirable…”After hearing her response, Whitlock went back to social media and claimed Taylor was “out over her skis.”
He added, “Someone who cares about her needs to hold an intervention and get her out of her gangsta delusions.”Also Read: Brittany Mahomes Steals Spotlight Styling Patrick Mahomes For Chiefs Game As He Shines In Preseason Finale
Joy Taylor denies lawsuit links to Fox Sports exit
Joy Taylor’s Fox Sports exit came shortly after hairstylist Noushin Faraji filed a lawsuit in January 2025. The suit accused Taylor, programming executive Charlie Dixon, and host Skip Bayless of misconduct. Faraji claimed Taylor had used sexual relationships with Dixon and Emmanuel Acho to move up in her career.
Taylor has denied all allegations.Speaking earlier this month on the “Hot Mics with Billy Bush” podcast, Taylor said her exit had nothing to do with the case. “That situation and that suit had nothing to do with the changes that happened at FS1,” she explained. “Three shows were let go and a massive sports network shifted into a different direction.”
