 D Raja Outlines Strategy

Ranchi: CPI national general secretary D Raja on Sunday claimed that his party would take all measures to revive itself in Jharkhand, Tamil Nadu and Kerala in the next elections.While taking part in the centenary function of his party at Atal Vendor Market hall in Ranchi he stated that CPI was in difficult position in Jharkhand.

Raja added that the party would try to gain public confidence and become an alternative to the voters through mass agitation over ‘jal’, ‘jungle’ and ‘zameen’.He claimed that since its formation CPI was struggling for public causes adding it has given slogan of Purna Swaraj.Raja also laid the foundation stone for renovation of his party office at the Albert Ekka Chowk. Former member of parliament Bhuwaneshwar Mehta said that the party should take up the causes of farmers and workers to regain its ground in the state adding that it should have a representative in the state assembly.

He said that a large number of farmers have got displaced due to the govt projects but they have not received proper jobs and rehabilitation.Party state secretary Mahendra Pathak alleged that the centre and the state govt have failed to protect the ‘jal’, ‘jungle’ and ‘zameen’ of the local people.
