Cristiano Ronaldo is on fire for Portugal in their FIFA World Cup 2026 Group K match against Uzbekistan at NRG Stadium in Houston. The 41-year-old opened the scoring in the sixth minute and doubled Portugal’s lead with his second goal in the 39th minute of the first half.

The two goals in the ongoing fixture have taken Ronaldo’s tally to 10 FIFA World Cup goals, making him Portugal’s all-time leading scorer in the tournament’s history. The previous record for the most goals scored by a Portuguese player at the FIFA World Cup was held by Eusébio, who netted nine goals during the 1966 edition of the tournament.
