CS for elaborate arrangements for Godavari pushkarams to avoid inconvenience to devotees

Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao has directed the officials of different departments to make elaborate arrangements for the ensuing Godavari Pushkarams to avoid inconvenience to lakhs of devotees expected to visit the State.

The State has several important locations from Basar to Bhadrachalam and arrangements should be made to ensure that devotees take a hassle-free dip in the river during the 12-day festival. The Chief Secretary reviewed the steps that are being taken to ensure smooth conduct of Godavari pushkarams with Endowments department officials on Thursday.
