After entertaining audiences in theatres, 'Daadi Ki Shaadi' is now preparing for its OTT debut. Starring Kapil Sharma, Neetu Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, the family drama was released in cinemas on May 8. Nearly two months later, the film is ready to reach a wider audience through digital streaming.

OTT platform has confirmed that Daadi Ki Shaadi will begin streaming on July 3. The announcement was made through the platform's official Instagram handle, where it shared the film's poster along with a playful caption. The streaming platform wrote, “Save the date! What is Daadi Ki Shaadi about?

The story revolves around an elderly grandmother whose decision to remarry surprises everyone in her family.

Her unexpected choice challenges long-held beliefs and forces her loved ones to confront their own emotions, prejudices and changing family relationships.Set against the scenic backdrop of Shimla, the film follows Vimla Ahuja, played by Neetu Kapoor. A widowed matriarch, Vimla finds herself at the centre of family drama after news of her upcoming marriage spreads through an accidental social media post. Kapil Sharma plays Tony Kalra, Kannu's fiancé, who tries to bring the family together during the emotional turmoil.

As disagreements escalate, Tony becomes an important source of support for Vimla while encouraging the family to understand her decision.

Strong performances drive the film

While the film received mixed responses, several performances earned praise from critics.
